We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team focusing on the research and development of Virtual Beings and Conversational AI. This role is instrumental in advancing our Virtual Beings platform and custom integration within the Unreal Engine 5 for applications in the gaming and entertainment sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to research initiatives aimed at enhancing the benchmarks in the field of Virtual Beings.
  • Engage in the prototyping of crucial elements of the Virtual Beings Machine Learning stack.
  • Develop cutting-edge technologies that emulate genuine human-like attributes, encompassing areas of learning, movement, speech, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the AI department to fine-tune and optimize the overarching AI solution.
  • Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to prototype innovative solutions, undertake experimental projects, and conceptualize new ideas.

Requirements:

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, or an analogous discipline.
  • A minimum professional tenure of 2 years in the capacity of a Senior Data Scientist.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Machine Learning frameworks & libraries, notably TensorFlow, Keras, and Pytorch.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and the latest neural network methodologies, with an emphasis on Transformers and Convolutional Neural Networks.
  • Prior experience in Natural Language Processing, development of chatbots, and in-depth text content analysis.

Nice to have:

  • Competence in advanced areas such as object detection and tracking, gesture analysis, scene interpretation, movement forecasting, semantic segmentation, and instance semantic segmentation.
  • Skillset in data preparation, including data annotation, data augmentation techniques, and normalization processes.
  • Basic familiarity with the Flask web framework and an understanding of HTTP 2.0 protocols and REST APIs.
  • A pronounced interest or prior experience in game development or the broader gaming industry.

Languages: English Intermediate or higher (B1+).

Contract duration: 12 months, possibility of indefinite-term contract / employment.
